togethr is a relationship journaling app operated by Mo Systems, LLC ("Mo Systems," "we," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you download, access, or use the togethr mobile or web applications (collectively, the "Services"). Information We Collect

We collect the information necessary to operate the Services and help you preserve your relationship history.

Information you provide

  • Account and couple details. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, partner invitations, anniversaries, and other profile information you add.
  • Relationship content. Date entries, notes, tags, stories, photos, and location details (such as venue names, addresses, latitude, and longitude) that you upload to remember shared experiences.
  • Communication records. Messages you send to our support team or responses to surveys and feedback requests.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and analytics data. We use PostHog to track engagement events, screen views, feature adoption, device type, and in-app behavior so we can understand how the Services perform and improve the experience.
  • Device and log data. Our systems automatically capture technical information such as app version, browser type, IP address, timestamps, crash logs, and diagnostic data to keep the Services secure and reliable.

Information from partners

  • Authentication providers. We use Amazon end user messaging services to send SMS verification codes to the phone numbers you provide during sign-in, along with related delivery metadata.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, personalize, and maintain core app features and couple timelines.
  • Authenticate your account, send OTP codes, and keep your sessions secure.
  • Store and organize relationship content you choose to upload to Supabase.
  • Analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve performance, design, and reliability.
  • Communicate with you about updates, support, and service-related announcements.
  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, and other harmful activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with trusted service providers solely to operate the Services, subject to contractual safeguards:

  • Infrastructure and storage. Supabase provides our managed database and file storage for your date entries, media, and related metadata.
  • Analytics. PostHog processes pseudonymized usage data to help us understand feature engagement and improve the product.
  • Communications. Amazon end user messaging services deliver SMS verification codes and related notifications.
  • Professional advisors and legal authorities. We may disclose information when required to comply with law, protect our rights, or respond to valid legal process.

We may share aggregated or de-identified insights that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active so you can access your relationship history. If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal information, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal, security, or operational requirements.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Update account details or content at any time from within the app.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
  • Manage login verification SMS by replying "STOP" to our messages or contacting us; note that opting out will block future one-time passcodes and may limit access to your account until you opt back in.

Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights. We will honor any privacy requests granted by applicable law.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and routine monitoring of our systems. Despite these measures, no online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use strong credentials and protect access to your devices.

Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for individuals aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International Users

We primarily operate in the United States. If you access the Services from other locations, you agree that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate.

Changes to This Policy
